Economic News

I think the "Post Tea-Party Nation" article is overly optimistic about the Tea Party being past action, but there's still a decent exploration of current economic challenges.

Here is a comparison of national debt per Presidential term. This helps clarify whose actions put America farther into debt.

The economy was suicidally depressed long before Obama walked into the bathroom and tried to pry the razor away from it.

I think more that Bush used a hatchet, Obama used a scalpel, and they both ignored the trained surgeons who have been pointing out the cancer all along.

I actually agree with that statement, although I do not know if you and I are listening to any of the same surgeons or looking at any of the same rotted organs. But at least we both agree that the current (and past) situation is not so good.
