Llewellyn's 2011 Annuals

Llewellyn Publications puts out a series of annuals including calendars, almanacs, and other goodies.  You can find them online or in most bookstores.  They make excellent gifts for magically inclined friends.

I write for these, different stuff each year, depending on which titles give me contracts that round.  For 2011, I have material in:
Magical Almanac  (good for beginning-intermediate practitioners)
Spell-a-Day Almanac  (good for beginning-intermediate practitioners)
Herbal Almanac  (good for intermediate-advanced practitioners, or gardeners -- it's less magical and more practical)
Sabbats Almanac  (good for beginner-intermediate practitioners)
Witches' Datebook  (good for all magical folks)

Hmm, the Herbal Almanac looks nice. The fact that it's more of a practical gardening guide works for me. I might have to put that on my holiday wish list. :)
It has different sections in it, like how to grow herbs, herbal crafts, beauty care, etc. Not always the same thing every year, though. It's okay for writers to mention magical aspects within an article, but there aren't any articles that focus on magical uses per se. I'd say look at a copy in the bookstore to see if it suits your interest.
