What gets me is that everything I said about global warming, Iraq war, the Bush administration, Osama bin Laden, and the economy are all coming true. And yet, when I said them, everyone looked at me like I was on drugs. Now, people are totally shocked.

What I can't figure out is why it is that other people have jobs and I don't .
Same here. I warn people in advance of probable consequences; the people who know me mostly agree with me; and the wider population doesn't listen no matter who says it. And then people whine when the results are ugly. I'd be perfectly happy to let them doom themselves, if I weren't stuck standing next to them.
