Moderately sized Victorian house, 4 bedrooms. One would be my bedroom, another would be a guest bedroom. The other two, directly connected by a door, would be the library and my writing den/computer area, respectively. The library would also have a chair for reading in.
I would have several phones in the house. At least one would be the black one I got today which looks like an antique but is a touch-tone phone. Another would be a wooden wall-mounted phone. I'd have other old-fashioned looking phones, too. I'd also have a CD/MP3 stereo that looks like an old-fashioned tall radio from the 20's or 30's. My furniture would also be faux-antique (I'd be too afraid of ruining real antiques) and the living room would have a big fluffy faux-antique ottoman. My den would have a big fancy roll-top desk with room for my computer.
And my computer would be steampunk'd! I'd have a keyboard made with old typewriter keys (or something that looks like such), a wooden case with brass trimmings, the monitor and a scanner similarly steampunk'd.
I'd also have a closet full of Victorian-esque dresses (but Gothified), and lots of awesome hats like top-hats and so on. Yes, I know women didn't wear top hats back then, but I don't care; I'm a gender bender.
Oh, for future reference, what's your personal policy on people cross-posting their comments to the Facebook and the Twitter? I haven't done any of that yet because I wanted to know your policy first.
