I can't say I've ever pretended to be a dinosaur while eating broccoli, but a while back, I borrowed a roommate's cookbook to create my own enchanted broccoli forest:

Unfortunately, we didn't have enough broccoli tops to make a complete forest over the whole casserole dish, so one corner of our enchanted forest had a clearcut of enchanted stumps cut from the broccoli stems.

If I'd been more comics-savvy as a child, I could see myself pretending to be Galactus while eating broccoli and little octopi made from hot dogs. :-)
