Definitely funny, but why, 'silly' if I may ask?
It just seemed sort of wacky to me to write the computer abbreviations on the materials.
An X-Acto knife and rubber cement were part of the toolkit, for those of us who've done layout, and even more appropriate, because you can actually do "undo", which you can't with tape.
For me it was a red-orange grease pencil and ... I think we used a large-bed paper-cutter. One year I volunteered for a high school yearbook. I finished my two pages handily. And by the end of the year almost everyone else had quit, so I and three other people did almost the entire book. Since I happened to be good at layout, I wound up doing the layout for about 3/4 of that book. Never made the mistake of doing yearbook again, but it did turn out to be useful experience later.
