I suppose this isn't that big a surprise. I guess a "big cat" is going to act quite a lot like... well, a big cat.

I do idly wonder what the subjective experience of being high on catnip is like, though.

It seems to have different effects on different cats. Most get silly, so it's probably a "high" effect for them. Many roll around and rub against things, which suggests a strong sensual effect. Some cats act mean, so it probably makes them feel paranoid or reckless. It seems to lower inhibitions in general, if it works at all. And they tend to fall asleep afterwards, although not all cats do.
