Poetry Sold to Star*Line

My poem "The Forest of Infinity" is slated for the January 2011 issue of Star*Line magazine. This poem came out of the April 6, 2010 Poetry Fishbowl, prompted by [personal profile] jenny_evergreen. "Hand Over Hand" is on hold for some time in 2011. It came out of the January 5, 2010 Poetry Fishbowl, prompted by [personal profile] fortunavirilis.

Congratulations!
Yeah, that rates a WOOHOO!!!
'grats :-)
Yay! I feel special now! :)
I'm happy to hear that. One of the cool things about cyberfunded creativity is that, when the writer succeeds, the readers succeed too. It's just fun to share a talent publicly.

*grin* I've gotten a similar thrill watching the Haiti relief painting take shape as flutterbychild works on it, weaving together suggestions from different people. I'm not an artist in this life, but sometimes I get a chance to borrow someone else's talent just a bit. And yeah, that's special.
*grin* Exactly. :)
Congrats! That is great news, and wonderful for the Poetry Fishbowl project.
I love it when I sell poems that began in a fishbowl; it's fun to share that with my audience.

By the way, the August Poetry Fishbowl is running today, if you want to drop by and give me a prompt on "fortunetelling, forecasts, and futures."
I did! I just wanted to congratulate first.

Your fishbowl icon is very helpful, by the way. And cute!

I appreciate the input on that. I think it helps attract a few new prompters, from time to time, as people stumble across it and wonder what it means.
It also served as a reminder for me. I opened up this post, and the icon at the top of the post, as well as your default icon at the top of your LJ were for the fishbowl. And I thought "Oh yeah, today!"

It is a very noticeable image - the bright blue really stands out.
Yeah, I wanted something that would leap off the page. I think some of my other readers use that as a reminder too. I just have to remember to shut it off when I'm done!
Wow, that's great! Congratulations :)
I'm happy.

By the way, the August Poetry Fishbowl is still going for a little while longer, if you want to drop me a prompt about "fortunetelling, forecasts, and futures."
