... continue to have problems, and can't last much longer in current situations.  Much as I expected, little aid is trickling down to the people in camps.  Look for direct-impact donation opportunities.

I will wait for more information on direct donation as I figure out where I left off on my Haiti art project... If funds given to UNICEF and other charities just aren't getting where they they need to, then that is a serious problem.
I think I'd do some research to see what is needed right now and what projects are actually in progress on the ground. From what I've seen, housing is currently an urgent need, and they probably still need help rebuilding infrastructure too.
