Saturday Writing Exercise: Eating Weirdness

For today's writing exercise, start by browsing these articles about eating weirdness:
"Half-Eaten Dwarf Planet Reveals Chemical Secrets"
"Animals Eat Weird Things"
"7 Foods Served While the Animal Is Alive"

Pick one.  It's the equivalent of "American as apple pie" for character race #1.  You couldn't get it away from them with crowbar.

That maggoty cheese is actually illegal where it's eaten, but people eat it anyway.

Hmm... I wouldn't be surprised if the Duenicallo ate something while it was still alive. Not sure what, though.

Lots of vegetables are still alive when people eat them.

So are many fruits. Indeed, fruits with tiny seeds are often evolved to emerge from a digestive system still capable of sprouting.
