Ya know, I read the blog, but I can't help but think there's far more to this situation than what the author has to say. I've seen a lot of non-specific dating sites. Some are fairly reasonable and what you'd expect from them: create a little ad, do a few searches, maybe chat or message a bit, and then see what happens. Pretty tame stuff. However, compare to that site such as person.com, where the moderation is all but non-existent and searching by image will get you a parade of penises (all from a site that markets itself in the same fashion and to the same audiences as all the others) and you begin to realize that all such sites are NOT the same and some clearly warrant being classified as 'non-family oriented', not because of their orientation, but purely by the behaviour and content expressed by users of the site.

I'm not saying that Google ISN'T being biased; I'm just saying that I'd need to see the whole story before I'd make that kind of call for myself.
