I'm glad you find these useful, and I appreciate the feedback. It helps to know what people are enjoying. I was surprised to discover people using my blog as a news aggregator, though, when it first started!

Time-wise, it's simply more efficient. Even in a community as relatively small as filk, there's no way to keep up with everyone, so it makes sense to keep up with a few key people, such as

filkertom. For creative things in general & writer things in particular, that'd be you.
