The Great Stalacpipe Organ
One of my interests that I don't get to indulge very often is caving.  Long ago, I heard about the organ made with stalactites.  Today I stumbled across an article about it.  This thing is just so cool.

Ah! You need to come visit. We own a cave. It isn't (apparently, reportedly) a particularly large one. It is ours. *G* It is registered in the officially un-official registry of Baja Jorja caves as Herself's Pit.

And while the first thought which ran through my mind about an organ made with stalactites involved music, the second involved... biology. Which organ? Intestine came to mind.

Wow!

You're lucky to own a cave, even a small one. Where are you located? Sadly, it's been a while since we could afford to travel much.

Me too! Have you got any good caving stories to tell?

Hmm...

One wild-caving trip was a lot of not fun crawling through cold water. But when I crawled out the far end, the cave opening was a carpet of splendid emerald moss, and there upon it was a single red eft, like a ruby pinned to a green gown. So bright and tiny and alive.
