The half-price poetry sale for The Steamsmith has sold out. The newly posted poems are linked via the original sale page. Discussions are ongoing under several of the poems.

During the week of October 22-28, I am serving as Poetry Host over in the Dreamwidth community Poetree.  The theme is serial poetry.  Watch for discussions and poems to appear.  Those of you who enjoy my serial poetry are especially encouraged to come talk about why you follow it and what appeals to you, along with thoughts on any other serial poetry you may have found.  So far, I have made these posts:
Introductory Post -- What Is Serial Poetry?
Poem: "The Wingdresser's Kitchen"
The Shared World as Serial Literature
Poem: "The Lost and Found Legion"
Poem: "The Girl Who Wanted Too Much"

Poetry in Microfunding:
"Within the Wolf's Jaws" belongs to The Asgard Eddas. It just opened, and you can read the first two verses about the starfarers and their interrupted journey.

It's raining here today.  Yesterday was lovely, though; we went out hiking at the Douglass-Hart Nature Center.  Signs of drought were obvious: the edge of the pond was about 20 feet farther from the dock than it was the last time we visited.  Still it was a great day for observing wildlife; we saw squirrels and many different birds.
