Read a Turing Poem
thesilentpoet has written to my last prompt, about Alan Turing.  This poem imagines what he might have accomplished had he lived longer.

There is a letter to a friend in the war office, posted the day before he died, in which Turing claimed he was working on 'something' [no-one knows what] that would not only render all current cyphers obsolete, but the very idea of encryption itself pointless. [more-or-less his words].

To date, no other hint has been found of this thing, but then Turning rarely wrote down what he was thinking of in the initial stages.

Okay...

That's awesome.

I've written a poem about it, imagining what the idea might have been and how much we lost with it. "The Dead Language of Binary Twins" is free verse.

50 lines, Buy It Now = $20

Re: Okay...

Whoa... and I didn't even mean that as a prompt... now I wish I had twenty to spare.

Re: Okay...

Sometimes things just happen.

You can always pick up the poem later if you wish. I've sent backchannel copies to you and thesilentpoet.

Re: Okay...

Which is fantastic, by the way. Love the collaboration that came out of this project, even if I made no tips from it.

Re: Okay...

I have really enjoyed "Poetry for the Masses" and I'm glad you did it. No tips for this poem, or for the whole project?

Re: Okay...

Whole project. :( Which is certainly disappointing, but I did get a new writing project out of it, so there's that. I definitely need to research for the Renaissance poem within Silk Road Allies.

Alas!

I really enjoyed this project. I've signal boosted it again.

Sometimes it takes a while to get things going. I ran my Poetry Fishbowl free for two months before opening the first sale options. If I remember right, I think I made about $8 the first time.
